As we've mentioned before, the 'Your Story' project sees nine creative’s collaborating on a range of silhouettes from the Consortium F/W11 collection. Chosen from Olympic cities around the world, the selected creative partners were asked to take inspiration from their own past Olympic memories, translating them on to a shoe.
Glerum chose to represent Amsterdam with a fairly subdued Decade Hi, featuring a navy blue and white colourway with a pop of red around the ankle collar. The shoes utilise a mix of nylon and leather, with the tongue displaying an interesting detail of three crosses - something which was inspired by the Amsterdam city flag. Both the outer sole and insole also features one of Glerum's illustrations; a 'fuller-figured' woman pole-vaulting.
