So here we go, the AW2012 Catwalk shows begin, starting with
Milan. Milan is the first Menswear show of the
year following on from Pittii Oumo in Florence. Colour and texture was big on the
agenda with Missoni and Burberry displaying particularly nice palettes.
Alastair Carr offered up some lovely Mustard tones and gave a sleek update of Pringle of Scotland's iconic graphic signature.
Adrian Brody in Prada

Prada brought in some A list heavyweights for their AW12
show, with the likes of Gary Oldman, Willem Defoe and Adrian Brody all walking.
Overall, Miuccia Prada's Winter 2012-13 collection spoke of a man who was
eccentric, mysterious and somewhat of a dandy.
Missoni AW12
Missoni's AW12 show was great. It displayed beautiful knitwear in rich earthy tones and brought some casual refreshment to a usually tailoring oriented week. The show gradually introduced a more casual,
youthful style, which saw bomber jackets and duffle coats layered over
patterned v-neck jumpers. Bright, circular crochet necklaces added a
playful, humorous touch.
Burberry Prosum's new catwalk designer, Joshua Kane
really put hias own personal style on their AW12 collection. I used to work
with Josh and he is a very talented designer (obviously) and loves skinny fit
everything! Carnaby esq (sic) tailoring paired with rugged outerwear in
gorgeous Dove Grey and soft Camel hues made this in my biased opinion, Burberry
best ever.
