Yutaka - Make your own

Whilst researching British made clothing, I came across a cool company called Yutaka. Although the name sounds Japanese, they are very much a British company. Independently run, based in Sheffield they formed in 2004 inspired by an idea to create a new shape, a geometric Y. A shape which is free from preconceived ideas.

Whether you draw in your spare time, are at school, college or are a world famous artist the brief is the same. Whether you use a pencil, computer, camera or found objects the emphasis is always on creativity. Download the PDF guideline doc, have fun, make mistakes and do what you do best. The artist of each design (if selected) will receive a share of the profit from each of their T-Shirt design sales. The selected designs are also archived in the Yutaka Y Book series. Tees priced at £42
