Offering up the final instalment from their respective Autumn/Winter 2012 collections, Japanese powerhouse SOPHNET. and their collaborative effort with Fragment Design head-honcho Hiroshi Fujiwara, Uniform Experiment, present a range of outerwear, accessories and collaborative footwear which brings a fitting end to a what have been strong collections.
SOPHNET. have teamed up with two of the most esteemed names in fashion in Tricker’s and Visvim, presenting a range of footwear which takes premium to a whole new level. Made in Northampton, England, the reworked Wing Tip Boot is a reinterpretation of a Tricker’s classic, combining both pebbled and polished leather uppers with the ever reliable goodyear welted sole. The collaboration with Visvim offers a casual alternative in the form of a ‘winterised’ iteration of the Kiefer Ki VD constructed from Italian Calf Leather and featuring an upgraded Vibram sole and hand-dyed sheepskin collar lining. The drop is rounded off by two colourways of a distinctive jacket from Uniform Experiment, taking the classic Mountain Jacket silhouette to create a robust, all-weather beating piece constructed using a rich wool and finished with a strong Leopard print lining.
