Remi Rough & Pimp My Sneaker

Straight off the back of London’s larget mural, street artist Remi Rough has helped to curate an Australian sneaker-art exhibition featuring the work of 20 international artists...

Featuring sneaker artworks by Remi Rough, Dabs Myla, Fantome, Mr Penfold, Prefab77 and SheOne. Visit the Chadstone website to see more detailed images of all the shoes created for the project, plus additional interviews with the artists. Chadstone are also running two competitions alongside the project; the first to create the inspiration (by making a Pinterest board) for a Remi Rough mural in Melbourne, and the second to win the original custom sneakers from the show.

The exhibition, held at the Chadstone shopping centre in Melbourne, invited select artists to express their creativity and to 'capture the colour of street art' using a pair of sneakers as a blank canvas. The artists involved include Remi Rough (UK), System (UK), Dabs Myla (Australia/USA), Philip Lumbang (USA), David Shillinglaw (UK), Prefab77 (UK), Billy Alex (Germany), Handiedan (The Netherlands), Jaybo Monk (Germany), SheOne (UK), Mr Penfold (UK), Fist (UK), Fantome (UK), Laser 3.14 (The Netherlands), Derm (UK), Pixel Pancho (Italy), Darren Henderson (Australia), The Cloud Commission (UK), LXone (France) and Juice 126 (UK).
